In Atlanta, GA at the Ovarian Cancer Walk with my cousins. Walking for my Aunt who lost her fight to Ovarian Cancer and walking for me - A  Survivor!

- September 2016

My name is Jennifer Howe and

I started my Cancer Journey in October 2015 when I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer after a misdiagnosis 9 month prior, with a virus. Some virus hu?

As I was going though chemo, I was so blessed to have such an amazing  support system from family, friends and co-workers. I was so overwhelmed with the love I received, I really needed some way to give back and the Cancer Comfort Bag Project was born.

This is my way to give back and to make sure everyone feels loved and they know someone cares!

I finished treatment March 2016. Eleven months later I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer recurrence in Feb. 2017. I couldn't believe it came back!! This time I went through chemo and radiation, traveling an hour each way for treatment for 30 days.

I still continued to receive request, packed bags and delivered to those in need, thanks to the help from my Board Members and Crewsaders!

In 2018 we became 501c3 Non-profit and we continue to grow!
